Refund Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026 · Version 1.7
In short
- Not happy with your first Film Recipe Gallery Plus purchase? Ask within 14 days for a full refund, no questions asked.
- Plus Lifetime is a one-time purchase: it can be refunded within 14 days, and there are no renewals to cancel.
- Yearly renewals can also be refunded within 14 days of the renewal charge.
- Cancel anytime: you won't be charged again and keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
- A refund or cancellation never deletes your photos right away.
This summary has no legal effect on its own — where it and the full policy below disagree, the full policy governs.
This policy covers Film Recipe Gallery Plus, the optional paid plan — a subscription or the one-time Plus Lifetime purchase — that raises your Gallery backup storage to 5 GB, 100 GB or 200 GB and unlocks unlimited recipes and libraries. The Film Recipe Gallery app, this website and the free 2 GB of Gallery backup cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund for them.
1. Where you bought Plus matters
- Google Play — the purchase is handled by Google. Request a refund from Google Play (Order history), or contact us and we'll refund it through Google Play where Google allows us to.
- Apple App Store — only Apple can issue refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; we can't refund these ourselves.
- This website — orders are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for website purchases. Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method once we approve it; you can also request one directly at paddle.net.
The rules below are what we apply to purchases we can refund ourselves, and what we ask Google to apply on our behalf. Apple and Google's own refund decisions follow their policies.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you ask within 14 days of your first purchase of any Plus plan (monthly or yearly), we refund it in full, whatever the reason. This applies to the first Plus purchase on each account. A Plus Lifetime purchase is refunded in full the same way if you ask within 14 days of buying it, even if it isn't your first Plus purchase. If your subscription started with the 15-day free trial, the 14 days count from the first payment after the trial; canceling during the trial costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
3. Renewals
- Yearly plans — if you forgot to cancel, ask within 14 days of the renewal charge and we refund that renewal in full.
- Monthly plans — renewals aren't refunded, but you can cancel at any time to stop the next charge.
- Plus Lifetime — there are no renewals. After the 14 days in section 2 it isn't refundable, except as described in section 6.
4. Canceling
You can cancel Plus at any time where you bought it (Google Play, the App Store, or the link in your website purchase receipt). You won't be charged again, and Plus stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. We don't refund the unused part of a period you cancel, except as described in sections 2, 3 and 6.
If you upgrade to a larger Plus plan mid-period, you pay only the prorated difference for the rest of that period; the upgrade itself isn't refundable beyond sections 2, 3 and 6. Switching to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal.
5. What happens to your photos
When Plus ends — because the paid period is over or because you were refunded — your Gallery backup limit goes back to the free 2 GB (or to 5 GB while you have Plus Lifetime). Nothing is deleted right away: if your backup is bigger than that, everything stays for 6 months so you can renew Plus or download your photos, exactly as described in section 6 of our Terms and Conditions.
6. If Plus doesn't work
If a problem on our side keeps Plus from working as described and we can't fix it within a reasonable time, we refund the affected period, even outside the 14 days.
7. When we may refuse a refund
We may refuse a refund where there are signs of fraud or abuse — for example, repeatedly buying and refunding Plus.
8. Your legal rights
This policy adds to your rights as a consumer; it doesn't replace them. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of where you live — for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU/EEA and the UK, or Mexico's Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor. Where the law gives you more, the law applies.
9. How to ask for a refund
Email mahayo2404@outlook.com from your account's email address with the date of the purchase (or its receipt) and where you bought it. We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method; your bank may take another 5–10 business days to show it.
